Duties & Responsibilities
- Delivering Services to the customer according to the contract and adherence to agreed SLAs
- Create, own and maintain good process and documentation for all security solutions in support scope.
- Perform daily monitoring, maintenance, and improvements in Client environment related to security.
- Provide the periodical reports and other ad-hoc reports as per the contract to the customer
- Manage internal and external threats and vulnerabilities through monitoring capabilities and oversight of systems and processes used to assess security.
- Monitor users, applications, networks, systems, and access to physical assets using intrusion prevention/detection, email/spam filtering, and web filtering systems.
- Perform periodic review of audits logs of applications, networks, server and end computing devices.
- Security monitoring, detection, and security status reporting to enable informed decisions.
- Ensure Key Performance Indicators and Security metrics for each of the Security capabilities deployed are measured periodically, and performance is reported to appropriate stakeholders.
- Develops, evaluates, analyzes, and identifies weaknesses and improvements to cryptography systems and algorithms.
- Develops, tests, and maintains systems’ security. Analyzes security of operations and integrated systems.
- Investigates, analyzes, and responds to cybersecurity incidents.
- Drives automation, service improvements initiatives and problem management.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or related field
- Should have very strong written and oral communication skills in English
- 8+ years experience in a Cybersecurity
- Preferred certifications and experience in CISSP, CISA, CISM, ISO 27001, or equivalent.
- Experience in using various Cybersecurity Tools.
- Strong understanding of Information Technology and IT Security.
- Strong knowledge of working across diverse teams to facilitate solutions.
- Works independently with minimal guidance and frequent initiative or independent judgment opportunities.
- Leads in a specialist area.
- Uses best practices and knowledge of technologies and appropriate processes.
- Serves as a mentor for less experienced team members.
Preferred Skills and Qualifications
- Experience working with DevSecOps practices, Container security, including Continuous Integration / Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) pipelines.
- ITIL certified.
- Experience working within the Telecom sector.
