The engine’s twin autonomously schedules downtime, coordinates with maintenance systems, and works with the Flight Management System (FMS) to suggest optimized thrust limits to the FADEC (Full Authority Digital Engine Control). A reduced-thrust climb extends engine life and saves fuel.
In this scenario, the twin becomes more than a passive asset. It is a stakeholder. Pilots and planners are no longer just monitoring a model; they are collaborating with one.
